So i have been debating picking up a extra set of wheel's for my 1x9 felt 29er for the day's i feel like doing some street time plus i would like to start riding to work from home (Santee to clairemont) a couple day's a week but i am a little confused on road/hybrid tire sizing from the research i have done i might be looking for something around 700c x 38 or 40 Right ? also any recommendations on a good combo ? Thanks

I picked up a set of wtb fx-28 wheels and went to performance yesterday and bought a pair of panaracer urban max 700x32 (about 2-3 inches shorter than my mtb tires). i already had a spare set of rotor's and cassette. i must say it was weird for one using tubes but putting 90+ psi in them was a little bizarre.i went for a quick spin around the neighborhood i could tell it does roll a lot easier and cant wait for next week and try it out on a real ride.

Don't you mean 700 x 23??

Nice!
Glad you found something that would work! So, the wheels are 28 or 29?
