ive ridden a FS 29er and a hardtail 29er. the felt like cheating on XC riding stuff. for what is now considered xc, i think they rock.

but for what you are riding, i would go with the reign. (i own one myself)

Holy thread resurection batman. Intrestingly, rode the Reign X all over Kingdom Trails in VT for three days this weekend and it rocked!
