Wish I could, thanks for the invite! Unfortunately I'll be at work.

Spring/Oak are where I'm thinking of for my first ride. Going to have to be an after work night ride though.

Congrats! Let us know how you like it.

I just got a Dawes ss 29er and took it out to Sycamore for my first ride this last weekend.
Climbing the sycamore switchbacks was "FUN"! 2:1 ratio is perfect. Collapsing into the green grass at the top hurt so good.

Damn that was fun! Took the bike around Spring tonight for a while, up L-1, down Toad's and then over to Sycamore for a bit.
I'm HOOKED on SS! Can't wait to do a Sycamore/Switchbacks/Martha's loop from Mast this weekend.

I didn't know my thread title was a prediction though. Looks worse than it is (I think).

Will do. Right now it's looking like Sunday morning for me. I usually start pretty early (like 6am).

Let me know. I like riding that early so I can finish the ride and get to go home at a decent time, around 10:00AM.

Update on the GT Peace 9'er SS:

I'm really liking the bike; fits me great and rides very nice for a rigid. Since I got the bike it's the only one I've ridden - done MTRP (Spring, Oak, etc.), Sycamore, Martha's, Rock House and around, Hollenbeck, etc. on it. Definitely worth the $400 I paid for it. A bit lighter build would be nice but if you've been on the fence about this bike, I'd say go for it.

The only problem I see with it is that I don't want to ride my other bikes right now. I'm sure that will change for Noble though.
