She's got a little make over a tuck here a snip there a bit of bling here and there :) I want to thank Neil over at Adrenaline for really hooking this up and getting this conversion done for me for a 1/3 of the price of buying a new bike :) and i get to rock the carbon fiber and old school campy stuff!!! Hehe i'll be the envy of all the butt hugging jean wearing emo kid LOL

current gearing is 42/16 I THINK...that was the little chainring on my existing crank the big ring was like in the 50's not sure have to look.

very nice! i can almost see the number on the chainring. i think typical roadie is 44 and 52. it looks like it says 44 on it. what all did they do to it besides the horns?

Oh man, that is one sweet Looking ride Foo. I'm so glad you did the conversion instead of getting rid of it.

The parts list:

-Alexrims 450rs? flip/flop hub in black mounted on hutchinson red striped tires front and rear.
- New Tekro brake levers
-16t Freewheel ACS
rewrap of the bar

thanks RHS i'm glad i converted it as well...definitely is different looking. Came back from my ride this morning w/ my buddy on his new SS track bike and i covered 33.36mi doing 1840ft of ascent and i'm not sure how they calc this but it says that i burned 2103 cal!!!! that's a lot of beers i can drink now ;)

Let me tell you, the ride to the office is great. the ride back sucked because i had to climb to get back home and i underestimated how much you do sweat when you road ride because you dont feel it cuz you're going a lot faster than on dirt so on the climbs home my calves started to cramp up...

All in All I enjoyed it, it's definitely a nice break from riding the same ol trails and you cover a lot of distance in the same time span that you would otherwise just have to contend with 5000lb land barges.

nice! how do you like the bullhorn setup? Do you miss the drop at all? I'm debating chopping mine or buying a new bullhorn...

i like the bulls however i think on LONGER rides full bars would be more beneficial as i tend to want to adjust my hand position a few places.

Brian, that's cool dude give us a full report when you find it

How much different is it riding with your chop and flops than just riding the hoods on drop bars?

That thing is siiiiiiiick. I didn't know it was full carbon! That blows away those two pre-made SS bikes you were looking at. Personally, I'm not huge fan of bullhorns (in general), but they still look cool.

IMO, some Nitto moustache bars would rock on that thing.
