After selling my SS last December and regretting it ever since (although I have had some good laughs seeing my friend pushing it up hills), I have another one and can't wait for the punishment. Just bummed one can't ride the Sycamore Switchbacks to Martha's anymore.

Converted my EMD to SS - no tensioner, just 32x20 magic gear. I'm sure I'll have to be replacing the chain every 3-400 miles due to stretch but it's worth it until I get my hands on a 2013 SIR9.

Funny... And I like how you said you can't wait for the punishment. I take it you didn't get a chance to break it in yesterday? I hear San Juan or Otay Mountain is perfect for SS!! Let's go!!!!

Nope, didn't get a chance to ride it yesterday. Might take it for a spin at MTRP later tonight after the kids go to bed.

Hmmm...Otay on the SS...give me until after the Cuyamaca poker ride next month and I'll join you and Anderson on that suffer fest. Maybe.
