This stuff is not working for me. Been taking 1 5/500 every 3 hrs and have not drop in level of pain. Can't sleep due to the pain and I don't feel a bit woozie???? Been up for hrs trying to see if 2 tablets are safe...I am desperate

I thought this stuff was the shit? I have been up all night contemplating a trip to the hosp for something better.

My knee looks like a grapefruit, burning hot up my quad and into my back. Damn dr's.......Let them go thru this and see how helppfull they are next time.
Maybe I should drink some liquior with it

Damn it hurts......

when i bruised ribs earlier this year, the pain was excruciating, and the vicodin made it just bearable enough to sleep.

Yeah Vicodin just maintains the the pain from feeling worse, when I had surgery on my knee, they give you the good stuff.Still got the Percocet starting at $10 a pill

What did you do to your knee, sprain, tear a ligament, infected joint? What other instructions did the doctors give you to treat your knee? Such as wraping it in an ACE bandage, keeping it elevated, iceing it!

As for your Vicodin, the labeling should read 1-2 tabs every 3-4 hr, so taking more than 1 at a time is ok. Taking alcohol with your pills is not going to help with pain relief, it will just make you feel more woozy.

I hope others who are telling you that Percocet is better than Vicodin are just giving you their own account of there experiences, because I can tell you they're not giving you fact. Research and literature shows that there is not sig. difference between hydrocondone and oxycodone, the opiods in the vicodin and percocet, respectively.

To help treat your pain should be taking all non-pharmocological steps as you can. All the steps I mentioned above will aid in reducing swelling as well as sooth some of the inflammation which will help in reduceing your pain. If all that is not working and it's wakeing you at night, then hell yeah you should go to the ER for better pain control.

If you were seen in the ER initially for knee, you should making an appointment with your primary care provider as soon as possible for follow so that he/she can work with you to get your pain and other treatment if needed, dialed in.

Ice both top and bottom.
It works with any drug.

So I just saw your previous post where you mentioned how you hert your knee, and what they said it might be.

The same still holds true, if doing all you can at home doesn't help with getting any sleep at night, then you should get seen again.

On a softer side, I hope you get to feeling better. With all the wonderful advances drugs, you shouldn't have to be in pain, unless you want to. Better living through chemistry.

1 doctor outfit
1 nurse outfit
