I spent the day with the family at the Miramar air show today and other than the park/hike we had a blast. I was probably in the 6th grade the last time I watched the air show and the roar of jets flying by made me feel like a kid again.

Thanks for sharing the photos, you got really great shots. It's been a while since I've been to an air show, probably next year.

Thanks for the kind remarks! I must admit that I did use photoshop to help enhance the photos.

Yes, I was amazed when I saw some of the manuevers that the F-22 was doing. Half the stuff I've only seen bi-wings doings.

*EDIT* Just watched the video and how it did not go into a flat spin that killed Goose I have no idea

I went this year for the first time and brought my 2 year old. We had a great time. We were watching the drill where the jets do the fake bomb run, and then the helicopters fly in with the Hummers, and then other helicopters dropped all the troops. They loaded all piled into the Hummers like clowns with guns and were gone. The little demo was about 5 minutes from first bang to the last hummer rolling out of site. It would suck to be the bad guys in that situation.

Now my 2 year old points to every airplane and says "bang, boom, fire." Not sure how that is going to workout next time we try to board an airplane.
