Hell, we were pulling pics off of bbs systems in '90.

Unless you're on dialup, there's no reason to store it. There's always new stuff...

Check out drobo. Yeah it's a little spendy but for me it was way easier than turning an old box into a fileserver.

I plug it into (USB) wireless router and it acts as a NAS. I am pretty paranoid about data loss.
