Was that the In-n-Out on Radford?

That's right. Larry lives on Radford, near the In-N-Out burger.

For fine dining you have to try the kobe beef burger and truffle fries at Pamplemousse Grille in Del Mar.

Maybe it's nostalgic or it's the chocolate peanut butter shake influencing me, but I still love Beef and Bun in Fletcher Hills. I've been going there since I was a little kid and now I take my kids there. I was there a few weeks ago with my son sitting next to the aquarium and the puffer fish blew itself up into a spiny ball. Burgers, shakes and puffer fishes inflating themselves....doesn't get much better.

^^^ Beef and Bun kills -- don't know how I left that off my list.

Their milk shakes are the best. I live not far from them

Nessies is good, but not worth the drive from East county, I have been trying to get over to Hodads after I saw it on one of the Food shows.

I haven't, but it did make the list of top 6 burger joints in SD.

Best Burgers in SD

Burger Lounge is good, but I certainly wouldn't put in the top 6.

I started out for Hodad's yesterday but stopped at Phil's BBQ.

Holy freaking crap. FIrst time I've been in the new location. I never went because despite the size, still always a line. No line at 4:14, big line at 4:30. Phil has like 100 people working for him now!

Anyway, no burger, got the classic "Broham" and Onion rings.

Best BBQ sauce, best pork, by far the best onion rings around.

Have to give Phil a shout. He may be running the best restaurant in San Diego.

If you've never been to Phils BBQ, go this weekend.

P.S. the tickler plates can't be beat and don't forget to try the Ranch dressing.
