A buddy at work gave me a free Comic-Con ticket, not an event I would pay money to go to, but I figured it was free this could be interesting. Interesting does not accurately describe the insanity I was part of today. The geeks come far and wide for this one and the costumes people had were pretty cool. I wish I had my camera ready for some that walked by while I was eating, like the over weight Wonder Woman and Bat Girl, damn!

Here are some pics.

Then it seemed that the place instantly got jam packed and I don't do crowds well so I bailed. I can check that off my list of things to do in SD.

So, you skipped a ride for dorkfest ;-)

People watching can be such a joy. That'd be my main focus. Jane Goodall in geektown...

+1 on that!

I'm debating on whether to pre-reg for it, but it's $100 for 4-day passes for next year I think.

Looks like you and Wirk had the same idea... but I managed to drag Wirk out to Cannell Plunge. Though practically the whole trip he kept bitching about how he was supposed to be at Comic-con!! :flame:
