Last Friday after a looooong week. My son got me a sixer of Boulevard "The Calling" Double IPA for Father's Day. Good boy! It is delicious.

Empties from the cooler...these are the two Trillium beers that PCT hiker sent me from Boston. I brought cups for post-ride tasting this morning, and we all agreed both were excellent. I especially liked the PM Dawn coffee stout, which had a very strong but good coffee flavor. The others favored the Melcher Street, which was delicious. An outstanding hoppy smell, and a slightly citrusy taste. I’ve never seen Trillium beers locally, but if you see any, don’t hesitate to try ‘em.

A Merlin at the “museum”. If there is such a thing as a session stout, this might be it. Very easy-drinking, probably due to the relatively low 5.5 ABV and nitro creaminess.

This was a Harmonic IPA a few days ago, at The Ramp in San Francisco, on the docks in a funky/cool area called Dogpatch, in the process of gentrification like every damn thing there.
