Did bike magazine meet your expectations? Mine have gotten pretty low for them the last couple years. I'm actually surprised whenever I receive an issue in the mail these days.

I still like it and it gets delivered regularly. Butcher Paper makes it 100% worth it. I adore her short "life-lesson" stories.

Although I was disappointed with the last issue. Too much political commentary.

Laws whiskey? That's a Colorado distillery... are they selling out in CA now?

Dan, while you're in Denver, you could check out Peach Street Distillery as well.... I would recommend their Bourbon. Avoid Breckenridge Distillery... it's terrible and expensive. Hope you're having a great trip!

A very tasty Red Fish beer at a nice little place in Durango, walking distance from the motel where my family is, on the way home from my daughter’s downsized wedding in Colorado. A single purpose trip with grandkids. Brought skateboards for the boys, but no bikes...sigh.

Having a delicious Hazy Voodoo Ranger yesterday in Flagstaff, once again at a MTB destination without my bike...sigh. This is at Altitudes, across the street from Biff’s Bagels and right next to the train tracks. That’s why my granddaughter has a troubled expression: she has never seen or heard a train that close!

And now I’m home, enjoying a standby beer that just logged 2500 miles in my cooler. Cheers!
