I was given this bottle of Stingo a couple of months ago and ignored it since I had a vague memory it was kinda nasty. But it’s not. Pretty enjoyable really. I must’ve been thinking of a different Smith beer.

So I was thinking a hazy mind might be a welcome diversion from current events, and I had stocked up on some basic large singles in a mix’n’match sale. The hazy IPA was neither. It was so insipid I poured it out and opened the Union Jack, which I recalled as a standard and acceptable IPA. And thankfully, it was.

After the ride, one on the left, and a shot from the right. I got the former in a beer trade, and it was as good as I’d heard. I’m not a rum drinker, but the latter, delivered from Belize, was deceptively smooth (pardon the stock photos).
