Very possibly the biggest Tiny Desk concert ever. Thank you to Old Dog Dan for turning me on to this band.

^^^ Just listened to that the other day and marveled at how fast and fluid he was with the lyrics.

Love it or hate it - probably not a lot of opinions in between.

I'm not sure yet how I feel about Mac Miller, but Thundercat is on bass for the second song, and I do know how I feel about Thundercat.

I should have known this album would have interesting playing when I saw it was produced by Vernon Reid. Before I got to this, the last song, I had already done a little research regarding Ulmer. He played with Art Blakey and Ornette Coleman before he started recording blues. He does covers of "I Ain't Superstitious" and "Sittin' On Top of the World" that don't sound like anything else I've heard. I don't pretend to know what's going on in "High Yellow" but I'm guessing it's next-level stuff best appreciated by people who have played for a long time - avant-garde blues, or something.

Just watched Bohemian Rhapsody. It's good.
