There is a small subset of Treaders who will like this as much as I do (sorry death metal Treaders - you will hate it). It’s got me all nostalgic.

Because I heard it was Clapton’s birthday yesterday. From the film The Last Waltz, directed by Martin Scorsese, full of allstar musical guests, and widely considered the best rock film ever made. If you’ve never seen it, you should. I don’t recall if there’s any cowbell.

That was wonderful (except for all the drug references, which was shameful).

^^^ That is an outstanding album. But it tends to make me a little depressed - not sure if that’s inherent to it, or by association. Love it despite that.

Its refreshing to see a younger generation capture some old soul.

If you have a decent sound system...turn it up a bit.

^^^ That was really, really good - great falsetto, nice harmony, horns, and good smoky vocals, too.

Something about the Marcus King song made me think of "Down By The River," so I tacked it on. Neil Young is one of my favorite artists and that's probably my favorite electric song of his.

There are so many good Marcus King videos online. This is a nice version of a classic. Check out "Wildflowers and Wine" if you like what you've heard so far.
