To each his own but because you seem to enjoy good and interesting music, and because Dylan is such a good lyricist and composer, and surrounds himself with the best musicians, I feel like it's my duty to try to change your mind. If it's the nasally, whining delivery that turns you off, try listening to "Nashville Skyline" (if you haven't already) where he sings in his natural voice. Another good gateway Dylan album is The Basement Tapes with The Band.
