I recieved this 2nd email in regards to an item I had listed on Craigslist. Just see how these SOBs are trying to gain your trust and screw you big time. Be aware guys. On the first email, Sara just asked me if the item was still for sale and I said yes and here is the 2nd email:

Hello Ali
We appreciate your response to our inquiry. We are interested in
buying it from you, we would have loved to come by and check it out
ourselves but we just got married and we are presently on an honeymoon
trip to Hawaii . .Please withdraw the advert from web so that we can
be rest assured that the item is held for us. We don't mind adding $50
for you to do that, We should believe that it is in good condition as
stated. We will be making the payment via a Certified Check which my
secretary will mail across to you. We will take care of the shipping
as our mover's will be coming for the pick up once the Certified Check
has been cashed. I will need your full name and physical address
which will be for the payment and also enhance payment delivery. Hope
to read from you soon again.

If your bored or just feel like getting them back go thru their little dance. Waste their time. Let them mail you a check, then when they call to go pickup the stuff tell them you never recieved the check and you need another one. I thought I read one on the best of craigslist where the dude had the scammer actually call him yelling at him lol. I will look for it later

We've had a huge influx of spammers setting up accounts lately. I need to figure out how to get back at them...

Just IP block them and change the PW on the account. Then get thee over to the phpBB site to download the latest update on their spam/bot lists & paste that into the spam filter, too.

I'm blocking and deleting them, but I want to report them to their ISPs. There's a few hundred though.

I know, I know... Just save the ISP contacts for the really gnarly offenders and zap the rest with the filter. It comes in waves, as you know.
