I might do some recon at Laguna tomorrow to see what there is for a group ride. It's been a while since I've been there

Could have it at Mt Laguna. There are picnic tables on the south side of the road at mile marker 19. Or get a couple campsites. Though most people would have to ride in to campsites. Unless things get out of control I don't think we'd have much issue at most city parks. I think some do allow alcohol. The ranger at Tri Canyons used to get annoyed that alcohol was allowed at the ball fields just outside the Tecolote nature center. Found a FAQ on the city site - says some places do allow it, others do not. Maybe call Ranger Ed? |

Best plan yet. you could even have (2) rides if necessary....one group doing Noble and the folks that want a more mellow ride could stay up top on BLT and then everybody meet up at a set time for BBQ & beverages. |
