Just wondering if any of you have ever seen this take place as you make your right turn onto Harbor Dr heading north toward the airport. Was lucky and got to watch the whole 45minute process.

I have seen it a few times in past as they cross the road into coast guard hanger.
Are you sure it took 45 minutes? I remember it was just under 15.

Actually it took 45 mins for the whole peripheral circus to happen. I was waiting for a flight, first the airport police came and posted up at the runway gates, then slowwly the Coast Guard personell staged at their opposing gate, then the Harbor Police staged 6 cars at intersection, then the jet (which was parked on the east side of Lindberg Field at Jims/Landmark Air) came bounding across the runway between landings/take-offs and just rolled out the gate, across the street, and in the Coast Guard facility where they also house the choppers. Ive seen it as a kid but never remembered the plane being so big.

I've seen it but it only took about 10 minutes or so when I was stuck in it. It would royally suck to be on the east side of it if you where late for your flight.
