Yeah, it was an interesting change of pace knowing there could be a wheel-swallowing rut around the next blind corner. Some of the newer trails were more like the old days than any trails have been for a long time.

I've been off my bike since September.

I blew out my shoulder at football practice and haven't even been able to ride on the pavement.
Trying to convince the doctor to just get the surgery done now, but he wants to complete 5 weeks of PT first and maybe another round of shots before the surgery.

No way I'm going to fall football camp in Aug/Sept with my arm in a sling, field temps are sometimes 120+ on the turf. Having a arm in a sling in those temps would be miserable.

Plus I'd really like to get back on my bike...

I got out for a late ride today.
Ran into Luke and Skyler at
the pad.
Also ran into the old men and
Mathew ride.
Trails are a lot drier now, still
pretty torn up though.
Great day for a ride!
