1. You sip your shots.
2. You dispense advice to a 21 year old (and they walk away).
3. The best part of your night is eavesdropping on your neighbor at the cafe.
4. You are content people-watching at a club instead of dancing.
5. The 21-year olds in the elevator, shrieking while wearing matching tiaras, annoy you.
6. You have to buy your own drinks.
7. You shamelessly walk barefoot throughout the casinos after a long night because your feet hurt.
8. Soup hits the spot at the end of the night.
9. You leave gigs before the encore to "beat the rush"
10. You stop dreaming of becoming a professional footballer and start
dreaming of having a son who might instead
11. Before going out anywhere, you ask what the parking is like
12. Instead of laughing at the innovations catalogue that falls out of
the newspaper, you suddenly see both the benefit and money saving
properties of a plastic winter cover for your garden bench and an
electronic mole repellent for the lawn. Not to mention the plastic man
for the car to deter would be thieves.
13. You don't get funny looks when you buy a Disney video or a Wallace and Gromit bubble bath, as the sales assistant assumes they are for your child
14. You go out of your way to pick up a colour chart from B&Q
15. You wish you had a shed
16. You have a shed
17. You actually find yourself saying "They don't make 'em like that
anymore" and "I remember when there were only 3 TV channels" and "Of course, in my day"

Thanx y'all for the b-day wishes. I do feel older a little, but not wiser. I'm anxious for the next ride, but for now I'm happy hangin' with the famdamily. I'm hoping to hit Sycamore tomorrow (3/1) in the morning around 10 or so (start on the Poway side). Let me know if anyone is interested, so far it is just Dad and I.
Oh, and Sue I have two sheds.
