Yeah, very interesting update. Glad it wasn't started by a yeti riding a mountain bike with magnesium pedals.

Interesting, Chuck, thanks for the update!

I hope the attorneys pay you a commission on all the extra fees they'll get to charge to analyze the photos and the depo!

He probably got the princely sum of $40.00 and mileage to and from the deposition.

They said I'd be getting a check in the mail in 5 or 6 weeks, but didn't say how much - I got the feeling the clerk who gave me the paperwork didn't know for sure, and I didn't ask because I didn't do it for the money (other than the multi-million dollar book deal I've got lined up). There won't be much for mileage, since I took a bus for 5 blocks and walked the remaining 2 blocks from my office to theirs.

On closer inspection, I'm sure I could see a strange white blob in one of the pics and it sure looks like a Yeti. Can't tell if there were any magnesium pedals, tho...

To avoid startling anyone seeing this thread title in their "new posts" feed, I renamed it from "Fire near Sunrise Highway today" to "Fire near Sunrise Highway (Chariot Fire 2013)"

I am guessing the lawsuit is between insurers fighting over who pays for aspects of the loss.
