I have a few favorites from Breakfast of Champions, but here are two:

“Fucking was how babies were made.”

“...the sea pirates were white. The people who were already on the continent when the pirates arrived were copper-colored. When slavery was introduced onto the continent, the slaves were black. Color was everything.”
-- Kurt Vonnegut, Breakfast of Champions

Also a bunch from Hitchiker's:

"The ships hung in the sky in much the same way that bricks don't."
-- Douglas Adams, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy

"It was on display in the bottom of a locked filing cabinet stuck in a disused lavatory with a sign on the door saying 'Beware of The Leopard'."
-- Douglas Adams, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy

There's the obvious choices too. Here's one from Donny

"Phone's ringing dude"
--Theodore Donald Kerabatsos

my only thought when reading those quotes was: shrooms!

I don't think that's actually what he said.

Get John McCain on it. He seems to have universal power to make innovative companies magically correct things. Schmuck.

Now, where is my Parliament LP...

My guess is that was a failed attempt at humor.

Speaking of Parliament, what do you get when you cross George W. Bush with Bill Clinton? I don't know, but it sure wouldn't be this guy:
