Went to the Padres game last night saw them destroy the Dodgers! I think it came out to 9-0 Padres. Peavy was unstoppable as always. Last night the Padres worked really well as a team. I don't recall any errors, and most of the plays were seamless. About time!


After the game we went down a couple bars and had a few drinks. Nice long line for Basic and very high drink prices! $32 for two jack and cokes, needless to say we didn't stay there for very long. Next bar we hit was the Yard House (or something like that). Great ambiance, great prices, great food. Hell yeah! Next time I'm down the Pads, I'm going to have to pre and post drinking there. $3.50 Premium drafts and half price apps during happy hour! Dublin Square was out final bar in downtown, fun place my Buddy Dave played a show there a couple times and it was fun as always. Nothing special, nothing bad. We decided to leave the $7 guiness for our usual place, TGI Fridays in RB. The guys know most of the bartenders and usually get the hook up. Well the first girl to take care of us didn't know the rules and we ended up with almost a $200 tab between the four of us. Yikes!

Oh well. It was one hell of a night

Awesome! Glad you went to a game where there was some actual offense. Peavy is the man. I was ready to give up on the team, but I think they may still have some gas, especially with Peavy back and CY coming back in the near future.

I like Basic because it's close to the ballpark and because there a lot of hot women there (usually).
