Banana bread and a gift of milk stout is a good combo after you’ve had your ass kicked, but the peppermint flavor is a little too weird for me to recommend this one. Close enough to finish it though.

Well, THIS stout is what I’m talking about. Much better than that peppermint crap!



It snowed in Cuyamaca today (really!) and was windy here. I had high hopes for a spectacular sunset around 5PM, but those hopes evaporated along with the clouds. Still, nice to be outside.

Felt like a porter kind of day. Picked this up and read the brewery donates to dog rescues. I’ll be sure to buy some of their IPA (1% of sales are donated) the next time I see it.
