looks like there's something missing, either a rear shock or part of the seat post.

my guess, this bike was properly locked up and the seat post cut to release this valuable, hand crafted diamond. (easier to cut through tapered tubing at its thinnest point than a lock link. believe me.......uh, i would think.)

a bike of this quality selling for $40.

buy it.

Sup fellas, I'm fairly new to this site and ridding but I came across these adds on Craigslist today and thought I would share in case anyone else may be interested.

For the price they seem to be a decent upgrade to the stock Suntour 140mm fork my bike came with.

New 2010 Fox Talas 140mm Travel Fork - $450

Or
New 2010 Fox 32 Vanilla Fork 140 mm Travel with 15 mm thru axle - $350

At Spring canyon I saw a guy in the parking gearing up with a bike like that. The front wheel was on backwards and his brake levers literally pointed up. I was going to say something but his super tight under armor shirt and constant flexing compelled me to shut up.

Cut and pasted the humor since it'll probably disappear soon. This may be from Carmel Valley, but I swear it's not me.

"WORKMAN BIKE, USED FOR INDUSTRIAL SHOPS TRICKED OUT FOR THE BEACH - $199 (Carmel Valley)

This is set up with 2 seats, so if you have kids you can cruise down the boardwalk with them. It can hold two skinny fine young ladies but no way will it hold a FAT CHICK, you would fly over the bars, plus you dont want a Porker up front cutting farts all day long in front of you, unless you like that kind of stuff?

asking $299 but make me an offer, want to get rid of it and make some room in my storage.

Sell some Taco's, Ice Cream, make a Garden to show off your plants.. Cool if you stick your Grandma up front, you would get the thumbs up for sure! Put a couple blow up dolls in the seats and ride down the beach for a good laugh.

Has storage underseat for Bongs, Beer, Jackets whatever, keys, Radio?"

i realize this isn't a bike, but this is a perfect example of cl gold, so i'm sharing.

http://sandiego.craigslist.org/nsd/boa/2475783467.html

the boat is in perfect condition despite lacking everything but the hull. tip to the op: sailboats have masts. also, i'm no expert, but it prolly isn't good for the hull to be rotting on the ground like that.

the other beauty here is the "santana brand". giyf buddy...

'Craigslist Gold' is a sarcastic thread, not for the great deals to be found on craigslist, but to laugh at some of the junk being sold for too much money, or funky descriptions, or hilarious whatevers bike related on craigslist.
