This post is an effort to help people not get ripped off and provide a reality check so if you're flagging it you must be one of the clue free people that are not needed on CL.

Seriously? You can paste up irrelevant specs that indicate a seapost size of 27.2mm but can't put the actual frame size in there somewhere? FAIL!

You've got some 15+ year old beater needing work before you can even ride it but want $1500 because in your diluted mind it's a collector? FAIL!

Before the turn of the century you paid alot of money for your Specialized FSR because the sales guy told you you needed the best. You rode it around the cul de sac a couple times, got over it then parked it so the bike looks mint. Technology has moved on but you haven't so you're trying to get the full purchase price plus tax and interest? FAIL!

If you tell me about how sweet your rig is but don't include a clear pic in decent light so it's possible to actually see it, I'm not even gonna click on it. FAIL!

Sorry dude but if it's a mountain bike without disc brakes and up to date suspension, it's worth a max of $500 and that's only if it has the highest end components on it. If you're trying to sell a road bike for more than a couple hundo, it better have some gucci stuff on it too.

Maybe this comes off as a bit sarcastic but I wish you all peace, love and happy riding!

Garage find of the week: -swell 'DarthVader' 20"-Tires/Mountain-bike with fully-articulated Pro-suspension, and ---YES, precision mechanical front & rear hiTech Disk-brakes (steelwool applied to SS-disks will make'em sparkle like new)!!! Straight and no rust, with quality Shimano-shifter, and good Tires; -- but needs a thorough cleaning, lubrication, and careful going-over of all adjustments; -plus a proper Seat&post&clamp from Target (-never ride a bicycle without a seat, as very serious rectal-injury will inevitably result). New: $800.oo ---> Sacrifice: $99.oo (-no Tax; -cash & carry)

Yeah, I would think it needs some lubing after a can of flat black paint was sprayed over everything.

I wonder if there is someone out there with enough liquid cash to actually buy this. I'm sure there is.
