Wanted: Specialized Stumpjumper Comp HT or similar (small)

I have a buddy who's looking for a light hardtail... preferably a used bike. His budget is $1000 for something decent. He wants to get back into it but timid at the same time. He lived up in Marin and rode up there but moved down here for school and has stayed in SD since. So I'm doing him a favor by finding him a bike. Any leads would be appreciated. :cheers:

His current bike: Diamond Back Ascent with XT Groupo -- early 90's model

Since he's shorter. 5'4" 135lbs. He wants something light and small (15in frame).

I have got a med. Specialized Stump Jumper hard tail in great shape and asking only $500. Let me know if you want to see pictures of it.
