Hi All, I have a hodge podge of bike parts that I'd like to get rid of. Even the thought of trying to sell them is tiresome so I thought maybe there is a local bike-related charity that I could donate them to. Anyone know of some such thing? Thanx |

Here's one place I'm aware of. http://bikesdelpueblosd.blogspot.com/p/donations.html You might also try contacting the SD Bicycle Coalition. |

Thanks. Should’ve mentioned I already came across BDP. SDBC points one to BDP. I’ll ‘inventory’ what I have and see if BDP can use anything, then figure out what to do with the rest. Cheers |

Dunno how much stuff you have, but a few years ago I hauled a backpack of stuff to the Velodrome swap meet and walked out with about $250. Even stuff like used chains and chainrings will sell if you put a buck or so on them. Think a lot of it goes down to TJ. Didn't care so much about the $$ but didn't want to throw a bunch of stuff away. |
