I'm selling a couple bikes.
Both are in great shape.
I'm asking $3800 for the
2008 450 and $2900 for
the 2006 250.

Well, that depends more on the rider than the vehicle, as any number of us can attest...

Speaking of KTM's, bikepacking is a moto thing now too. My friend Jim showed me this setup last night over a few beers. He's on a solo overnighter out near Anza right now. I keep trying to get him to take up mountain biking, but he's not really going for it.

Did you have a epiphany when Dave Collins broke his leg? I have a buddy that was looking for a 250XC at one time. I will forward him this post. He was actually with Dave on the broken leg trip....and drove Dave out after the accident.

I've been thinking about selling for a
while now. Dave breaking his leg did
pretty much make up my mind for me.
Not so much getting hurt, that's always
in the back of my mind, but I rode mostly
with him and he's gonna be out for a while.

I want a new mountain bike and selling these
helped with finances and the wife.

I sold the 250 last week, still have the 450.

Not if he rode a Yeti SB5C first...if he's looking for a new everyday bike that will compliment the Nomad. That Yeti does everything REALLY well and the Switch Infinity suspension is what really impressed me. That design eats up all the chatter yet is still plush on the bigger hits. Then there's always the SB6C if he wants a straight up replacement bike for the Nomad yet probably not needed since the Yeti sponsored riders were winning full blown Enduro races on the SB5. Pretty impressive if you ask me. I've been scouring the world wide web for a deal but all the best deals go fast!!

I believe I saw an example of the above-mentioned Yeti Sunday at the pad. A very nice looking bike, the rear suspension was kinda funky looking, with part of it in the bottom bracket area, another part under the top tube.

Regardless of whether that was the bike, the Urban Yeti riding a Yeti is a curiously satisfying combination of monnikers.
