This poor bike has been sitting idle for over year due to an off the bike knee injury. The injury and a new family have led me to hang up my DH aspirations and sell my baby. The geometry of this frame is still relevant and it really rides great. In my time on the bike I have yet to find its limits. It has the usual rubs and scratches that you'd expect, but it's been meticulously cared for and is running on a nearly new set of bearings.
http://www.sicklines.com/projects/proje ... se-m6-fro/The frame is a LARGE 09 and is currently built with a Manitou Revox with 450lb Ti spring. The bike will come with a spare Marzocchi Roco WC and 300 and 350 steel springs.
The fork is a 2012 Marz 88 RC3 EVO with a firm spring installed and a spare medium spring. The fork is barely broken in and rides like a dream.
http://blistergearreview.com/gear-revie ... vo-v2-forkBrakes are 4 piston Hayes Stroker ACE which really are excellent stoppers.
http://www.singletracks.com/blog/mtb-ge ... ce-review/The rear wheel is a Mavic 823 UST laced to a 32h Saint hub and the front is a Ringle MTX 33 laced to a Ringle hub. Not the lightest set up in the world but really bombproof.
The drivetrain is a shimano 9 speed mix of slx and saint with Holzfeller cranks and an e13 guide.
Bars are by ODI and will come with end caps to adjust the width from 750 to 787mm. The stem is a direct mount Answer and matches up nicely with the fork. Post, saddle and grips are handled by SDG. I have a set of Answer 420 pedals that I can throw in if needed but I find most folks have their own pedal preferences.
I live in south OC and really do not want to try shipping. I can be available to meet on weekends and most evenings. I have more pics to share and can certainly go out and take some more if needed.
